Common questions
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything logged under it (diary, saved meals and profile). It cannot be undone.
How do I turn off Apple Health access?
In Essentra, go to Settings → Apple Health and switch it off, or open the Health app, then Sharing → Apps → Essentra. Essentra still works without it, using estimates from your own answers.
How do I stop notifications?
Notifications are limited to two a day and each kind can be turned off under Settings → Fueling reminders in Essentra, or all of them in iOS Settings → Notifications → Essentra.
A food is missing a nutrient or shows no percentage
Food data comes from USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts, and many foods do not report every nutrient. Essentra shows an unreported nutrient as unreported, never as zero. A percentage of the daily reference is shown only when the unit and form match the reference value.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone. There is no Android version yet.
